As Riot Games gets ready to ship Valorant Episode 10 Act 1 to the live servers, players are busy trying to get their last few competitive games in to reach their dream rank or grind for that tier 50 Battle Pass.
As with every other major update, the Valorant servers will be taken down for maintenance as the devs roll out the new patch to the game. The maintenance times will vary based on your game region, and you’ll be unable to queue while the servers are down.
But when does the Valorant maintenance start, and how long will it last before the new update goes live?

Valorant Episode 10 Maintenance Times & Duration
The maintenance for the heavily anticipated Valorant Episode 10 update will start at the following times:
- US: 6 am PT / 9 am ET (January 8, 2025)
- Brazil: 10 am UTC-3 (January 8, 2025)
- UK: 4 am BST (January 9, 2025)
- India: 2:30 am IST (January 9, 2025)
- Korea: 6 am KST
- Japan: 6 am JST
The maintenance is expected to last approximately 2–3 hours, during which players will be unable to launch Valorant or queue for any game mode.
Once the maintenance ends, the Valorant servers will go back up with the Episode 10 Act 1 update, and fans will be able to enjoy all the new content that the patch will introduce to the game.
