Free Fire Anime Adaptation to Get a Global Release

According to data.ai, Free Fire held the title of the most downloaded mobile battle royale game in both 2022 and 2023. Additionally, it was also the most downloaded mobile game globally between 2019 and 2021. Notably, in February 2024, the game surpassed a remarkable milestone, with peak daily active users exceeding a staggering 100 million, solidifying its place as one of the most played battle royale titles.

Now, the Free Fire universe is all set to expand further with the announcement of an anime adaptation. The highly anticipated anime adaptation is a collaboration between Garena Online Private Limited and the renowned Japanese entertainment conglomerate, KADOKAWA. KADOKAWA’s overseas branch, KADOKAWA QINGYU, will be entrusted with bringing the world of Free Fire to life through animation.

The anime is slated for broadcast and streaming not only in Japan, but also globally, ensuring fans worldwide can experience Free Fire in a whole new way. Unfortunately, a release date for this anime has not been revealed yet.
