FaZe ZooMaa Unveils $100,000 Black Ops 6 Tournament with CDL Pro Player

Top Call of Duty Players Face Off in FaZe ZooMaa’s $100K Black Ops 6 Tournament Series.

FaZe Clan’s Thomas “ZooMaa” Paparatto has officially announced a major $100,000 tournament to celebrate the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and the beginning of the 2025 Call of Duty League (CDL) season. This highly anticipated event will feature a series of three tournaments, each with a prize of $25,000, and will bring together some of the top Call of Duty pros in the league.

This tournament series is designed to highlight both AR (assault rifle) and SMG (submachine gun) duos from various CDL teams. One notable pairing is the “Tiny Terrors” duo of Simp and aBeZy from Atlanta FaZe, who will team up with an AR duo from a different CDL team. These combinations allow players to show off their skills alongside different teammates, offering fans a fresh look at potential in-game synergies.

All the tournament action will be broadcast live on ZooMaa’s Twitch channel, with scheduled matches starting on October 29, November 1, and concluding on November 5-6. Matches will take place at 12 p.m. PST (3 p.m. EST) on the first two days, and at 10 a.m. PST (1 p.m. EST) on the final days.

Although FaZe ZooMaa has yet to announce which maps and weapons will be available for the tournament, there is speculation around the inclusion of maps like Vault, Pyback, Vorkuta, and Skyline. In terms of weapon choices, the Model L, GPR 91, PP-919, and Jackal PDW have emerged as early favorites among pros.

This announcement has created a buzz in the Call of Duty community, especially following recent roster changes in the CDL. Teams like LA Thieves have formed a super squad featuring former Toronto Ultra stars Scrappy and Envoy, while others, such as OpTic Texas and Atlanta FaZe, have stuck with their core lineups.

The tournament not only promises to provide thrilling matchups but also acts as a warm-up for players before the official CDL season kicks off. With the mix of talent and the introduction of new game elements, it will be interesting to see how the pros adapt to Black Ops 6, especially with some expressing concerns about the quality of the current map pool.

As fans eagerly await the action-packed matches, ZooMaa’s tournament series has positioned itself as a must-watch event for any Call of Duty enthusiast.
