European esports organization Fnatic is all set for the upcoming EMEA VCT Challengers Two as they finish signing Enzo Mestari and Ali “Alfajer” Beder to their Valorant roster.
Enzo first played for Fnatic when he was brought as a stand-in for Andrey “BraveAF” Gorchakov during VCT Masters Reykjavík. Unfortunately, the org couldn’t make it past the group stages after back-to-back losses against Ninjas in Pyjamas and ZETA DIVISION.
The duo joins the Fnatic roster as replacements for BraveAF and Martin “Magnum” Peňkov. BraveAF was initially suspended from the org after leaked messages surfaced where he supposedly showed support for the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
“Alfajer is an exciting player with a huge amount of firepower and pure talent,” Fnatic head coach Jacob ‘Mini’ Harris said in a statement. “We believe he is more than capable to be one of our star players but we will be sure to ease him through that transition as he is such a young player. He has plenty of flexibility in his agent pool which bodes well for long-term success in Fnatic. We want to be able to adapt to the fast-paced meta changes we see in VALORANT and we expect that direction to only continue.”
With these new additions, the Fnatic roster for the upcoming EMEA VCT Challengers Two will contain the following players:
- Jake “Boaster” Howlett
- James “Mistic” Orfila
- Nikita “Derke” Sirmitev
- Ali “Alfajer” Beder
- Enzo “Enzo” Mestari
Fans will be able to see this new roster in action when they battle it out against FunPlus Phoenix on Saturday, May 14.
