The next agent in Valorant has been teased taking notes while munching on some Indian snacks.
Riot Games has revealed details about the Valorant agent Mage. Agent 21 is a controller who seems to like Indian delicacies, Samosas, and Tea.
The soon-to-be-revealed Valorant agent number 21 will be an Indian, and their gear will most likely be water-based.
“We have seen that Controllers are in a bit of a drought, and it feels like we have to go all the way back to ancient times to our last new Controller release with Astra. Aside from Viper, introducing Controllers that can cover large open areas is a blue ocean of opportunity,” – stated Riot developer John “RiotMEMEMEMEME” Goscicki.
There is a wealth of evidence in the image that points to agent 21 being a controller who originates from India. When you save the image file contained within the official teaser, everything becomes much clear.
The file is named after an Indian street snack, “samosachaat.jpg.” Riot has previously referenced the meal in teasers, so this cements it. The blog was finished off by the developer with the Hindi phrase “Jald hi milte hain,” which means “see you soon.”
Now that the official teaser has dropped, players may expect more consistent information about an agent who may use oceanic powers to block the opponent’s vision.
It is far too soon to make any assumptions about how smoke made from water may operate. However, given that Riot used Viper as an example, it won’t come as a surprise if Mage brings an oceanic screen to fend off the competitors.

The first official Mage teaser has ocean puns, an Indian pencil, chai, and Samosas, a South Asian snack. In addition to a breathtaking panorama of the ocean, the background contains a journal that has a scrawled map of India in one of the margins.

A while ago, the abilities of Varun Batra had been leaked on the internet. However, according to ValorLeaks, these abilities are subject to change at the time of the Agent’s final release.
Here are all the abilities of Valorant Agent 21 that have been leaked so far:
- Vision Taker (C): EQUIP a distortion wall launcher. FIRE to create a small line of distortion. Enemies will get briefly blinded if they walk through.
- Tartarus Pit (Q): EQUIP a Tartarus charger. FIRE to launch a shot that deals some damage and slows players within its zone.
- Bubble (E): EQUIP bubble and enter into a phased state to place down a bubble by pressing the ability key. Activate to create an impenetrable bubble. Bullets cannot pass through.
- Golem (X): EQUIP the Golem doll. Fire to throw down. All teammates will get a regeneration buff, and enemies will get decay debuff. Lasts for a duration or until destroyed by enemies.
