An accidental wardrobe malfunction from Imjasmine has led to her channel getting banned on Twitch.
Something to rejoice for those who do not approve of the “Hot Tub” streams, Imjasmine has been banned for a wardrobe malfunction during a stream where was exploiting the grey area established by Twitch’s unclear norms about apparel, and in the process, she violated the ToS. Her chat was quick to bring it to her attention but it was too late.
Though many despise the “Hot Tub” streamers, no argument can be made against the fact that it is the new meta on Amazon’s streaming platform. The likes of xQc has publicly criticized streamers taking advantage of the meta and push suggestive content to rise up the ranks in Twitch.
To Imjasmine’s fortune, Twitch has gone easy on her, serving her with only a 24 hour ban. Needless to say, subsequent bans would last longer and may get her banned permanently after 3 strikes. For now, she will be allowed to broadcast more of her “Hot Tub” content after 24 hours.
