Fnatic wins Group D finals after viciously destroying FaZe, once again

With the Eleague Season 1 advancing to another Group finals, we have another winner of a group. Fnatic, the Swedish side which recently came back to their best form with Olofmeister’s return, have beaten FaZe 2-0 in a best-of-three format to win ELEAGUE Group D finals.

Even though FaZe lost 16-0 in the group stages against fnatic, they managed to take it back from TSM and Dignitas, and the same was replicated by Fnatic. Both the finalists of Group D were scored 5-1 going into the finals to serve the viewers a perfect weekend recipe!

Fnatic 10ed FaZe

Things went very standard in the first map which was cache, according to the analysis and the statistics of Fnatic on the map, it looked weaker and FaZe were the favorites but with the likes of Dennis, Olof, JW, flusha and Krimz.. well the whole of Fnatic, they were able to beat FaZe 16-12 in the first map. The second map was terrifying for FaZe since they were beaten 16-0 in the same map earlier this week and the initial sprint of Fnatic tore FaZe apart yet again when Fnatic was up 11-0.  The final scoreline which led Fnatic to victory over FaZe in cobblestone was not quite convincing either, FaZe did manage to prevent another whitewash only from losing against Fnatic with scoreline of 16-5 in the second map. Fnatic moves ahead in the ELEAGUE over FaZe. ELEAGUE returns next week with Group E, stay tuned for our complete coverage!
