VP wins over Liquid, Mousesports edges stronger on Envyus

The next match of the Day 2 of the ESL Cologne 2016 was between Virtus pro and Team Liquid. The map that was to be played was Cobblestone.

The match started with VP winning the first pistol round with the help of ‘byali’s three kills that led them to win two anti-eco rounds and made the score to 3-0. Liquid then came back into the game and made a strong impact by winning seven rounds and leading the second half with a scoreline of 9-6. In the second half pistol round the Polish team somehow managed to win the round and made a quick comeback by equalizing the score 9-9. When we came into the gun rounds ‘Snax’ and ‘TaZ’ lead VP to victory and won some important rounds for them and closed the map 16-12.

The next match of the evening was between Mousesports and Envyus. The map that was decided was Train.

The match started with mouz starting on the CT Side and ‘denis’ pulling a ninja diffuse through the a smoke with two Envyus players still alive. The Frenchmen pulled off the buy round and then leaded the game 7-5. Despite of all this ‘chriJ’ kept his team’s hopes alive by pulling off some amazing rounds and getting the first half in their favor

with a score of 8-7. In the second half pistol round we saw an amazing B site execute by mouz securing them the round win. Envyus didn’t stay behind for too long and tried to comeback in the game by winning four rounds but ‘chrisJ’ and ‘Spiidi’ didn’t let that happen and closed the map 16-12, eliminating the french team and sending them back home.
