India’s giant etailer Flipkart announces online gaming championship, FGOC

As teased by the company’s independent gaming page on facebook, Flipkart will host an online tournament for gaming enthusiasts, the event will feature games such as FIFA, CS:GO, LoL and DotA 2, which comes under complete Esports event banner to say the least. FGOC starts on 3rd June.

Scheduled to commence on June 3rd and making run till the next month, FGOC will be open to participate for everyone and will be a Free to play event with no participation cost whatsoever.

The prize-pool however still remains a mystery, since this is the first online event from the company, we should not expect a huge amount but a quality-class tournament to follow. Registrations for the event is now open on their website. The event commences on 3rd June, we’ll wait to see how it goes with the company’s maiden online competitive gaming and eSports event.
