It’s been almost a week since Global Esports triumphed over Velocity Gaming at the Valorant Conquerors Championship, hosted by Nodwin in association with Riot Games. VCC has been recognized as a framework of the Valorant Champions Tour circuit and the former’s winner would get a chance to contest at the APAC Last Chance Qualifier, a final passage towards the Valorant Champions event, to be held later this year.
Eight teams had qualified for Valorant Conquerors Championship playoffs from across eight regional qualifiers including a wildcard event as well. These eight teams were further seeded in two groups for their VCC playoffs campaign.
The VCC playoffs saw its first ever ace, secured by Vibhor “Vibhor” Vaid in their Group A opener against Exceeli Esports. This was indeed paid a tribute in an episode of Esports360, presented to you by Nodwin Gaming. Vibhor’s ace was dubbed as the most “splendid” performance in the playoffs of the main event.

While fending off his team from the attackers (Exceeli Esports) on the A site, Vibhor tightened up his position as his opponents seemed to walk into his crosshair with the fellow VLT player picking them off one by one. He went on to be the first player ever to secure an ace in the playoffs of the Valorant Conquerors Championship. VLT were able to take away the series 2-0 and were to face Team Exploit in the winner’s bracket.
