SkRossi is your MVP from Valorant Conquerors Championship

SkRossi reigned supreme at the recently concluded Valorant Conquerors Championship.

Global Esports’s Ganesh “SkRossi” Gangadhar led the way at last week’s Valorant Conquerors Championship against regional counterparts Velocity Gaming. The Indian side had qualified for the main VCC event from the second iteration of the Indian Qualifier and is currently led by Bhavin “HellrangeR” Kotwani.

On 4th October 2020, SkRossi retired from Counter Strike : Global Offensive and left BL4ZE Esports to pursue a career in Valorant. Following his departure, he was recruited by Global Esports for their Valorant Division.

SkRossi was the difference-maker for Global Esports throughout the three day – Finals playoffs tournament. The 22 year-old played Jett to perfection recording over 200 kills across matches played. Earlier in the tournament, Global Esports were relegated down to the lower bracket rounds following their defeat at the hands of Velocity Gaming in the Upper Bracket round 1.

Over the course of three series and nine maps (winning cause) played, Global Esports went undefeated, beating Enigma Gaming, Team  Exploit and later Velocity Gaming in the Best of five grand finale. In total, SkRossi had 197 kills – far and wide the most at the Valorant Conquerors Championship, aided by 31 assists over the said teams he contested against.

In the Grand Finals played between Global Esports and Team Vitality on Sunday, SkRossi was deservedly dubbed as the Most Valuable Player, an award from a result of his heroics across the tournament. A Post-game footage is now available across the Esports community where Rossi is seen celebrating, emotional from their final map win. This was also tweeted by @FionnOnFire as a tribute to the young prodigy.

Global Esports now have secured a slot at the APAC Last Chance Qualifier event along with the lion’s share of $16,500 USD.
