If you do not feel like running the whole race, then F1 24 gives you the option to change race lengths. However, changing the race length also changes some other settings. Let’s take a look at how to change the race length setting and what gets affected by it.
How to change race length in F1 24?
You need to enter a race session before you can edit the race length. You can enter a race session by entering Career mode, My Team, or Grand Prix in F1 World. Here you need to go to Weekend Structure.
In Weekend Structure you get the ability to change the race length and enable or disable practice and qualifying sessions. If you are a fan of the sprint race then you can add it here. It is important to note that the race length cannot be changed once the race weekend has started. Let’s check out all the race lengths offered by F1 24:
- 3-lap
- 5-lap
- 25%
- 35%
- 50%
- 100%
As mentioned earlier, some other settings also get affected by changing the race length. When you set the race length to 3-lap or 5-lap, the pit stop, safety car, and red flags get disabled automatically and cannot be enabled. For all other race lengths, you can customize the pit stop, safety car, and red flags settings.
That is all on how to change race length in F1 24.
