The latest season of Fortnite has generated mixed reactions from players with the majority calling for a more conventional season as the freshly introduced elements like automobiles and nitro are not appreciated by the majority of the player base. This disappointment with the latest update has seen fans calling for radical changes in the next season.
New seasons bring about a plethora of changes with the game but Chapter 5, Season 3 brought a ton of significant changes which become too much for the fan to adapt to and the shift in meta did not help the cause. A few weeks into the new season, players started calling for the next season and it couldn’t arrive any sooner.
WHEN IS THE NEXT FORTNITE SEASON?
The Season 4 of Chapter 5 in Fortnite is presumed to launch on August 16, 2024. This date is derived from the in-game Battle Pass expiration dates judging by the patterns in the past. The Battle Pass expires right ahead of the new season but unless Epic officially reveals the new chapter, it is subject to change.
A collaboration with Marvel is on the schedule for the next chapter but whether the unwanted elements like vehicles and nitrous will be removed is what we are uncertain about. Nevertheless, Fortnite devs always listen to their player base so we can assume changes will be made for a more balanced experience.
