Here’s how long it takes to complete Cyberpunk 2077 main story

-

CD Projekt Red’s much anticipated and hyped open-world RPG game Cyberpunk 2077 releases this week on December 10th and pre-load for the game is already live on multiple platforms. With the release imminent, the early reviews for the game are already coming in and according to those reviews, the game is fully loaded with content from the main story to its accompanying side quests.

While some reviewers mention the campaign being shorter than that of The Witcher 3, the game includes abundant side quests that are as interesting as the main campaign and tackles the shorter campaign complaints.

How long is Cyberpunk 2077?

If you are rushing through the main story skipping up on side quests (not skipping on dialogues) then the game will take around 25-30 hours in general. While if you are doing some side quests together with the main story then the campaign will take around 45-50 hours to complete. As for fellow completionists aiming for a 100% run, the game will easily take more than 175 hours+, according to a developer who claims to have played for more than 175 hours without seeing everything.

Cyberpunk Campaign

The length of the campaign lines up perfectly with CD Projekt Red’s previous claims of the main campaign being a little shorter than The Witcher 3. The decision to include a shorter campaign was partially due to players’ feedback that The Witcher 3 was too long. As to compensate for a shorter campaign the developer include abundant side quests that playout no less than the main story.
