HoYoverse has recently revealed the details for the highly anticipated Genshin Impact 5.2 update, and fans of the action RPG are excited to know more about what the new patch will bring to the game.
The upcoming ‘Tapestry of Spirit and Flame’ update is set to bring a plethora of new content to Genshin Impact including two new characters, new quests, map updates, and much more.

Genshin Impact 5.2 Update: Release Date
As already confirmed by the developers, the Genshin Impact 5.2 update will hit the live servers on November 20, 2024, introducing all the aforementioned content to the game. The servers will go down for a few hours once the ongoing version 5.1 phase 2 comes to an end.
Here are the expected release dates for the Genshin Impact 5.2 update across all regions:
- US: Tuesday 19th November, 7pm PT
- Japan: Wednesday 20th November, 12pm JST
- Australia: Wednesday 20th November, 2pm AET
- UK: Wednesday 20th November, 3am GMT
- Europe: Wednesday 20th November, 4am CET
Genshin Impact 5.2 Update: Banners
The Genshin Impact 5.2 update Phase 1 banners will feature the new characters Chasca and Ororon. Chasca is a 5-star Anemo archer who will see her debut banner span from November 20, 2024 to December 10, 2024, while the 5-Star Pyro archer Lyney will have his own rerun banner.
The Electro archer Ororon is another new character who will be a boosted 4-star on each banner, but the other 4-star characters are still unknown at the time of writing.
