The Genshin Impact 4.7 update is just a few days away, and it’s set to introduce one of the most eagerly awaited features that fans of the open-world RPG have been requesting for a long time.
As confirmed by HoYoverse through an announcement on May 22nd, the Genshin Impact 4.7 update will raise the Original Resin cap in the game, alongside bringing some improvements to Artifact custom configurations.
For the uninitiated, Original Resin is a crucial resource in Genshin Impact that is used to collect various materials for characters, talents, weapons, Mora, and other rewards
Players can regenerate Resin continuously, but only up to a cap of 160. Once the accumulated Resin is spent, it takes 21 hours and 20 minutes to fully replenish, thus limiting your playtime by restricting the in-game rewards you can get by playing the game.
The increase in the Original Resin cap means players will be able to get more rewards and materials before needing to replenish it, but notably, the time that it takes for the Original Resin to regenerate remains unchanged.
Genshin Impact Patch 4.7 Release Date
The Genshin Impact patch 4.7 update is expected to hit the live servers on June 5, 2024. As usual, there will be a maintenance period before the update is officially shipped to the game.
