Genshin Impact is widely considered to be successful in the open-world RPG category of games. With a unique storyline spread across seven nations on the land of Teyvat, there is a lot to explore. Without the teleporters, the game would be overwhelmingly difficult to traverse. Despite this, the game can feel lonely sometimes. But worry not, you can invite a friend to play with you as Genshin Impact can be played in co-op mode. Let’s take a look at how to add friends in Genshin Impact.
Some important points to understand before we move ahead:
- You can only add players on the same server to your friends list.
- Once you have sent the friend request, there is no way to take it back or cancel it.
- You can add a maximum of 45 players to your friends list
- If needed you can mute, block, or unfriend a player for the My Friends list.
To add any friends to your in-game friends list, you first need to reach Adventure Rank 2. Once you reach Adventure Rank 2, ask your friend for their UID which is visible under their profile picture in the Menu. Once you have the UID follow the steps below:
- Go to Menu
- Click on ‘Friends’
- Click on the ‘Add Friends’ tab (2nd tab on the top)
- Enter your friend’s UID in the Search bar, your friend’s profile should be visible below.
- Click ‘Add Friend’
That’s it! Now all you have to do is wait for your friend to accept the request. Once your friend has accepted your request, you are free to team up, explore, and conquer the lands of Teyvat.
