When it comes to shooter games, everybody would prefer a better performing game with minimal visual losses. Hence the shadow settings are reduced. Having said this, you are free to experiment with the settings depending on your system’s specs.

Just like Valorant, Xdefiant also gives the enemies a red outline which makes it easy for us to spot them. You can improve this effect by tuning your monitor’s contrast settings. There is one more trick you can use but it requires you to know the NVIDIA Control Panel. If you do, you should tweak the Contrast, Gamma, and Digital Vibrance settings. As mentioned earlier, you are free to experiment with the settings depending on the performance your PC can offer.
