Black Myth Wukong just went online and we are more excited to get our hands on it than ever! Ever since the beast of gameplay was demoed on the same day in 2020, the game has come a long way.
To claim the DLC items in Black Myth Wukong, you need to wait through the cutscene at the beginning post which you end up in a forest. This is where the players can gain control of the destined one once they reach the first checkpoint – the Forest Shrine.
Here you should be able to hold the appropriate key (E on PC / A on Xbox / X on Playstation) to then claim your items.
But wait, what do I get in the Black Myth Wukong DLC?
Firstly all the items we are about to mention should already be in your inventory, where once you claim the Trailblazer’s gift, you should see the following items unlocked:
- Bronze Cloud Staff
- Folk Opera Mask
- Folk Opera Almsgiving Armor
- Folk Opera Leather Braces
- Folk Opera Buskins
- Wind Chime Curio – Increases movement speed
- Trailblazer’s Scarlet Gourd – Has one extra charge
The Trailblazer’s Scarlet Gourd is a pre-order exclusive bonus content, but don’t worry you can still get it even if you didn’t.
Do also note that the DLC’s Bronze Cloud staff does 10% more damage than the default Willow wood staff with an additional two percent critical damage chance and more defense & armor. If that isn’t pay to win, we don’t know what else is but the pre-order bonuses do make the early game a tad bit easier – especially when players are learning the game for the first time.
