Call of Duty lovers seem quite contended as Activision has finally published the COD Modern Warfare 2. However, the new installment of COD isn’t providing the same experience to all PC players. Several PC players especially those using Nvidia GPUs are complaining about stability issues in Modern Warfare 2. The reports include FPS drop, flickering, stuttering, game crash, and numerous other bugs.

The story was different back when the game was going through its beta phase. Players who were playing it using Early Access, reported that the developers have done very well in terms of PC optimization. However, the final release doesn’t seem to be the same.

How to fix Modern Warfare 2 stability issue on Nvidia Drivers?
To fix the stability issue, there are two methods. Let’s check them out one by one.
1st Method
- Firstly, you have to right-click on the Windows Start icon in the bottom left corner.
- Then go to Device Manager and click on Display Adapters.
- After that, right-click on your Nvidia GPU and click on Properties.
- From the new window, click on Driver and then on Roll Back Drivers.
2nd Method
- Click here and it will redirect you to the official Nvidia Drivers site.
- There you have to enter your GPU information and then click on Search.
- Then select any driver apart from 526.47. I would suggest you to go for the 522.25 version.
- After that, you have to install DDU and then select Clean and Restart.
- Once you are done, install the downloaded Nvidia driver.
