Following its initial announcement in 2022, fans were met with mixed reactions. However, thanks to the Xbox Showcase 2023, we now have fresh footage that gives us a glimpse into the upcoming DLC. But that’s not all—the release date for Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty has also been announced, with pre-orders now available.

As previously mentioned, the forthcoming Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is set to be a substantial addition to the game, which was released in December 2020. This DLC will be available for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC starting from September 26, 2023. Players can expect an exhilarating spy-thriller adventure, featuring the return of V and the iconic Johnny Silverhand, played by Keanu Reeves.

The official storyline revolves around the president of New USA, who crash-lands in a new location called “Dogtown.” This city is under the control of volatile militias, ruled by Colonel Hansen. Players will join forces with NUSA sleeper agent Solomon Reed, portrayed by the talented Idris Elba, to rescue President Myers of NUSA.

CD Projekt Red, the developers of Cyberpunk 2077, have crafted the Phantom Liberty DLC with the next-generation hardware in mind. Unfortunately, players on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will miss out on this thrilling spy-themed action.
