Wuthering Waves has managed to captivate a sizable player base ever since its release. By now every player knows that you need to gather certain items to be able to upgrade and ascend your Resonators. The new Resonator soon to be released is Yinlin and it has been revealed that ‘Unwarranted Feather’ would be a required item to upgrade her. Can you even find Unwarranted Feather?
Since you are reading this article, it means that you have already tried to find Unwarranted Feather in Wuthering Waves. Unfortunately, as of now, there is no such item introduced in Wuthering Waves. Unwarranted Feather will be required to upgrade Yinlin, the new Resonator that will be released on June 6th, 2024. Since the Resonator is not in the game yet, Unwarranted Feather will likely be added to the game along with Yinlin. It is also possible that we might have to wait till Wuthering Waves Version 1.1 is released.
Possible Mistranslation
While it is unlikely, this possibility can not be ruled out. Mistranslation could be the culprit here as we already have ‘Dreamless Feather’ in the game. This item is dropped after defeating the ‘Statue of the Crownless: Heart’ boss. This boss becomes a weekly challenge after you have defeated it in Chapter 1 Act 6, Warstorm Quest. Dreamless Feather is currently an Ascension item for Danjin.
Patience is Virtue
While there is no way to pinpoint the exact reason behind the mystery of Unwarranted Feather, all we can do for now is wait for Yinlin to be released. Kuro Games might add bosses that drop Unwarranted Feather later on in version 1.1 of Wuthering Waves.
