Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 is set to release today and it brings a lot of changes on the table. As the new season might suggest, we are getting a new map. Thanks to the twitter user by the handle Hypex, we already have a sneak peek into what it looks like.
The new map comes with 16 Place of Interest (POIs). A total of four new locations have been added which includes, Stealthy Stronghold to the North-West, Hunter’s Haven to the South, Colossal Coliseum to the East and finally Salty Towers to the West.
Judging from the leaks, all the Marvel POIs have been removed. On top of that, Galactus’s attempt to consume the Zero point during his event has turned the centre of the map into a decimated desert filled with pink crystal shards. The farms have also gone missing from the map owing to the damages caused by the Zero Point. Leaving these new tweaks and changes aside, the rest of the map still largely remains the same.
