Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 4 guide

Welcome to another of the weekly installments of our guide library. Within this guide, we will explore Fortnite’s Chapter 3, Season 4. More specifically, the third week of the season and how to tackle the quests and earn that much-needed XP. Before we dive into the action, note that this week’s quests have a little more difficulty than previous weeks, so be prepared. Also, why not prepare as best you can by purchasing V Bucks from ChicksGold? They provide unbeatable rates to see you to victory. With that being said, let’s get into the guide!

Season 4, week 3 Quests: How to Carry them Out

Deal damage to opponents with a Marksman Rifle from at least 75m away.

For this quest, we recommend the new Cobra DMR. This is a highly accurate weapon for these sorts of shots. Next, check their distance, and assuming the range is 75m+ take your shot! To complete this task, you will need to deal at least 150 damage; don’t panic though; this damage does not need to be dealt within the same match.

Deal damage to opponents with SMGs or Assault Rifles

Though this quest can most likely be carried out through organic playing, if you really want to get it in the bag, we recommend the following: Acquire an assault rifle and head to a crowded/popular place such as Tilted Towers. Once there, the chances of encountering enemies from a distance are relatively high, so take your chances and deal the damage needed. Given adequate skill, we estimate that this quest can be completed within only a few matches.

Deal damage to Supply Lamas

Here is where the difficulty can scale up a few notches. It’s rather uncommon to encounter Supply Lamas, so dealing damage to them won’t be the easiest thing ever. For this reason, we recommend the use of a Grapple Glove to zoom through the map for a higher chance of encountering them. Additionally, a long ranged weapon is recommended to offer a better chance of making the mark. This is another quest that can be carried out over several games, though it is possible to deal all 500 damage to one Lama in a match.

Destroy Chrome structures

Within the map, you should be able to distinguish the Chrome areas, make your way to one of these structures (Such as Shimmering Shrine or Cloudy Condos) and locate the chrome-covered items. Once you have done so, begin dealing damage, this quest may take a little more time as you will be required to destroy 100 structures. Therefore, landing in a less populated area will be beneficial to this task, as it should be relatively untouched, allowing you to conduct this quest faster.

Gain shields from JellyFish/ShieldFish/SlurpFish

For this quest, you will need to be near a body of water; the lake to the North of Tilted Towers should suffice. Grab a fishing rod and begin fishing until you acquire the fish mentioned above. You will need to consume the fish to gain the shields, and since you need 200 to complete this quest, you will be a little busy. Don’t worry, this quest is another that does not require being completed in one match.

Land at the Driftwood and collect two Gold Bars in one Match

Check your map to locate the Driftwood, as it freely floats throughout the map; once you have located it, make sure to drop it there. Once you land, begin looting and do as much of it as possible. If you struggle to find chests to open, there should be some residing on the lower deck of the ship. Remember, this quest is one that must be carried out in a single match, so remain vigilant.

Visit Reality Tree and Heralds Sanctum in one Match

This can be a bit more tricky than some of the previous quests, but using a vehicle should help you immensely. So, to tackle this quest, we recommend dropping in Reality Falls and making your way to the road in the southeast, where vehicles are usually found. Following this, make your way to Heralds Sanctum; once you do so, you will be informed of completion and receive your credit.
