Ulman is a new event NPC that will be introduced to Genshin Impact with the Lost Riches event tomorrow. Basically, Ulman will act as an exclusive event vendor giving out new items and gadgets that players might need for the event.
The event is expected to go live on January 8th at 10 am server time and will finish on January 18, at 4 am.
During the event, players will be able to earn Iron Coins which can then be traded with Ulman to get new exclusive items and gadgets. Ulman’s shop will remain available until January 22 at 4 am, giving everyone plenty of time to spend those Iron Coins.
Although the event isn’t live now, players can still find Ulman near the Stone Gate area in Liyue. Players can’t interact with Ulman right now but can still spot him chilling in the spot.
As for the Lost Riches event, players above Adventure Rank 20, and with the Prologue: Act 1 “The Outlander Who Caught the Wind” completed can participate in the event and earn Iron Coins.
Players will get the all new Treasure-seeking Seelie, which will guide them to places where they can find Iron Coins. The Iron Coins will be buried around the world and players will get clues about the location, which they will need to track down and dig up to claim the Iron Coins.
Players will also be able to unlock special treasure areas after completing a certain number of normal treasure areas. The special treasure will reward players with one commemorative gadget from the event — the Mini Seelie: Dayflower, Mini Seelie: Rosé, or Mini Seelie: Curcuma. Players can also earn Primogems and other rare rewards from these special treasures.

miYoHo haven’t released any major details about the Lost Riches Event yet, but there will almost certainly be some form of activity or enemy that will also reward Iron Coins.
