How To Disable Animated Avatars in CS2?

Since the transition from Global Offensive to Counter-Strike 2, players now have the ability to view animated avatars when playing the shooter. The animated avatars for every player in a server are displayed at the top of your screens—a feature that was absent in the CS:GO days.

However, not every CS2 player is a fan of viewing animated avatars when trying to play the game, and understandably so. Animated avatars in CS2 can not only be incredibly distracting at times, but they can also negatively impact your FPS (frames per second), which is a major concern for most players.

Luckily, Valve has included an option for players to disable animated avatars in CS2 should they wish to do so.
