Players are always prompted to enter their Steam ID when they try to link the same to a third party website.Some do make it while the rest seem to be lost when it comes to finding theirs. Steam ID is a series of numbers that are assigned to each Steam User Profile.
Below, you’ll see how to find your Steam ID. You can also set your custom URL from the “Edit Profile” setting if you wish to remember it.
Here are the steps to get your Steam ID :
> Log onto your Steam.
> Choose Settings from the top left corner.
> From there, select interface.
> Tick “Display Steam URL address bar” if you haven’t.
> Hit Ok to confirm and save the settings.
If you wish to set a custom link for your Steam ID :
> Click on your in-game nickname and select “Profile”
> Hit “Edit profile”
> From there, enter your custom URL in the form of “https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/*your desired details*/ in the text box.
> Scroll down to the bottom of the page and hit “Save”
