Whether you’re looking to master your map knowledge or simply troll your friends in a custom game, knowing how to fly in CS2 practice mode is a crucial skill for any player to have.
Flying in Counter-Strike 2 requires players to use certain console commands to clip out of the map, which enables them to roam around freely without the risk of dying from fall damage or gunfire.
Learning how to fly in CS2 practice mode is extremely easy and takes no more than a few seconds once you know how to do it. Without further ado, let’s take a look at how you can fly in CS2.
How To Fly in CS2 Practice
As you can probably already guess, flying in CS2 is limited to custom maps and practice mode only. So don’t try to use these console commands in official servers because they won’t work.
With that being said, here’s how you can fly in CS2 practice:
- Launch CS2 and start an offline server or a custom game with your friends.
- Wait for the map to load, then open the developer console by pressing the tilde (~) key on your keyboard (If your console doesn’t open, follow our guide on how to enable console in CS2).
- Type in ‘sv_cheats true’ without the quotations and press enter. This will enable cheats on your server.
- Type in ‘noclip’ to start flying.
Once you have cheats enabled, you can toggle flying in CS2 by typing ‘noclip’ in your console. It’s generally a good idea to have a key bound to noclip for ease of flying.
You can bind a key to noclip by typing the following in your console:
- Bind X noclip (replace X with your key)
Now all you need to do to toggle your noclip is press X on your keyboard, and you’ll start flying. If you want to stop flying, just press X again, and you’ll fall to the ground.
That’s everything you need to know about how to fly in CS2 practice mode.
