How to Get Premier Season 1 Medal in CS2?

Counter-Strike 2‘s inaugural Premier Season is drawing to a close, with anticipation building for Season 2 updates. As the season’s end approaches, players have been wondering about a commemorative reward, similar to the medals awarded in CS:GO.

According to an official Counter-Strike blog post, a special medal will be given to every player who earned a CS Rating during Season 1. However, prominent leaker ThourCS2 suggests that simply participating in Premier mode will be enough to receive the souvenir. This article will explore the possibilities surrounding the CS2 Premier Season 1 medal and its contents.

How to Obtain the CS2 Premier Season 1 Medal

The process of receiving the medal is relatively straightforward. As per the official blog, any player who achieved a Premier rank in Season 1 will be granted a commemorative medal. This reward will be distributed at the start of Premier Season 2 and can be claimed upon launching the game.

The CS2 Premier Season 1 medal will showcase a summary of the player’s performance throughout the season, including:

  • Highest Premier rank achieved in Season 1
  • Total matches played, including wins, draws, and losses
  • Win rate percentage
  • K/D Ratio
  • Number of MVPs
  • Number of Aces
  • Number of 4k (four kills in a round)
  • Number of 3k (three kills in a round)
  • Headshot percentage

Furthermore, Valve plans to incorporate map-specific statistics, such as K/D Ratio, total kills, kills per round, headshot percentage, and assists.

Based on initial previews, the medal’s appearance won’t initially reflect the player’s final Premier rank. However, Valve has indicated a visual upgrade for the Season 2 medal, which will conclude after the Austin Major 2025. This upgrade will involve changing the medal’s background color to represent the player’s highest achieved rank.

Requirements to Play Premier Mode and Potentially Receive the Badge:

To be eligible for Premier mode (and potentially receive the associated badge), players must:

  • Purchase Prime Status.
  • Reach Level 10 by playing various game modes like Deathmatch, Competitive, and Arms Race.
  • Win at least 10 matches to be placed in an ELO group and receive a rank.
