Set 20 years after the events of Dying Light, Dying Light 2 expands on the previous games’ formula and features a new protagonist Aiden Caldwell who must navigate through a zombie-infected world while making choices that can change the players’ experience.
Dying Light 2 features everything Dying Light had and more, including the UV flashlight which is an important tool, especially if you enjoy exploring Villedor at night since it deters all infected, most notably, the Volatiles and its battery can be upgraded by going to a Craftmaster and spending Military Tech obtained from Trophies and, GRE Containers.
The UV flashlight is obtained automatically in both games by playing the main story quests. In Dying Light 2, you’ll get the UV flashlight while playing the mission “Welcome on Board.”
It takes a while to get to this mission, by then you’ll have enough skill points and levels to navigate at night with ease.
