How to play Cyberpunk 2077 on mobile
While technically it isn’t a mobile game, but with good enough internet and a supported device, you can finally enjoy the game without feeling left behind. You can play the game on mobile using two methods. One of them is Google Stadia and the other one is Geforce Now.
How to play Cyberpunk 2077 on Google Stadia
To game on Stadia, all you need to do is purchase Cyberpunk 2077 on the Stadia store, no Stadia subscription is needed to Cyberpunk 2077 afterward.
Currently, Stadia has a limited-time deal on right now where with every purchase of Cyberpunk 2077 you will receive a Stadia Premiere Edition, which includes a Stadia controller and Chromecast Ultra.
The offer is live now and expires next week on 18th December.
As of now, playing games via Stadia is only available on Android and PC as Apple disallows cloud-based gaming on its devices.
Note that Stadia is currently available only in select states/countries, also the Stadia app currently doesn’t support every device so before purchasing the game check your device compatiblity.
Stadia does support upto 4K resolution, but there is no ray-tracing support available in Stadia and to game at 4K you would need a much faster internet connection than the minimum 10Mbps requirement.
How to play Cyberpunk 2077 on Geforce Now
Currently to play Cyberpunk with raytracing enabled you will need to purchase RTX GPU or use Nvidia’s Geforce Now service.
With Geforce Now, players just need to own a copy of the game on either GOG, Steam, or Epic Games Store. Unlike Stadia, Geforce Now offers more flexibility and supports more devices.
Geforce Now is available on Windows or Mac PC, Nvidia Shield, Chromebook, Android or Safari for iPhone and iPad support.
You’ll also need a minimum of 15 Mbps and preferably 25 Mbps internet speed to play the game at the highest settings on 1080p.
Although it only runs at 1080p resolution max, you’ll be able to use the highest quality settings.
While to turn on raytracing you’ll also need to pay $6 a month for a Founder’s membership which will you get priority access to GeForce Now servers, six hours of session time, and raytracing support.
While a free version of Geforce now is available, the free session times are limited to one hour and you won’t get priority access to servers meaning you have to queue long to get a chance at playing.
