The developers behind miHoYo’s open-world RPG title ‘Genshin Impact’ have announced a new feature for the PC version of the game. This new feature lets PC players pre-install future update since up to two days before its official release.
This feature is primarily aimed to help players with slower internet connections to get a head start in downloading the major updates.
How to Pre-Install Genshin Impact Update 1.2 on PC
- Open the Genshin Impact launcher on PC.
- Click on the ‘Game Pre-Installation’ button located towards the left of the ‘Launch’ button.
- Click on ‘Get Now’
That’s it! Now all you have to do is wait till the update is officially shipped to the game. Once done, you can open the launcher and click on the ‘Update’ button to successfully update your game.
This pre-installation feature might also be making its way to Mobile devices and consoles in the near future.
