Following a successful beta phase that generated mixed reactions from the community, Ubisoft plans to introduce the open beta session for XDefiant which will be free-to-play and is set to be released later this summer.
Payers can participate in the open beta session starting on June 21 which will run till June 23. For those who missed out on the closed beta, read through to find out how you can get the open beta.
How to Sign Up for the XDefiant Open Beta
- Go to PlayXDefiant.com
- Scroll down and go to the registration part.
- Register with your preferred platform from Ubisoft, Xbox or PlayStation 5.
- After successfully registering you will receive an email from the developer with instructions to join the session.
The timings of the session are as follows:
- Open Session starts at 10 AM PT/7PM CEST on Wednesday, June 21.
- Open Session ends at 11 PM PT Friday, June 23rd / 8AM CEST Saturday, June 24.
If you happened to miss out on playing during the closed beta period, don’t worry. You now have the chance to participate in the open beta and experience the game for yourself.
XDefiant has garnered a good response from the community, and although it has its fair share of critics, the game so far has made the developers extremely hopeful for the future. While Ubisoft is trying it as an esports title, much like Rainbow Six, we cannot say for sure that it will enjoy the same success.
