Upgrading Weapon Rarity
The process involves using Aetherium Tools, which replace the Work Bench from earlier titles. These tools can be obtained by completing contracts across the map or shooting down purple orbs.
Aetherium Tools come in different rarity levels and can only upgrade weapons to their corresponding tier or below. Players can also find schematics to craft a Legendary Aether Tool, enabling instant weapon upgrades to purple rarity at the match’s start.
Field Upgrades in MW3 Zombies
In addition to weapon rarity upgrades, MW3 Zombies introduces Field Upgrades, enhancing gameplay:
