Fire Emblem Engage, the latest entry in the classic strategy RPG series, features an online multiplayer option through its Tower of Trials game mode. Players have the opportunity to team up as squads and take on AIs or other players’ armies in a turn-based battle.
The multiplayer modes are available through two different trials: Relay Trials and Outrealm Trial. In Relay Trials, players must work together with a friend’s party to make it through a series of fights against an AI opponent. This mode requires an in-game item known as a Relay Ticket and is best suited for players whose parties are equally leveled.
On the other hand, Outrealm Trial offers head-to-head matchups where players will take on an opponent’s party controlled by AI. While it may not be a traditional multiplayer experience, it does offer customizable maps and the ability to check out how friends have been training their troops.
It is worth noting that Fire Emblem Engage does not have a traditional co-op or PvP multiplayer mode. However, the game offers a few options for players who want to showcase their armies to other players.
