Setting up a bind for mouse wheel jump in CSGO makes it a lot easier when you have to bunny hop. It lets you scroll the wheel with more precision rather than needing to spam the space button at regular intervals.
The Jumpwheel bind can be set with 3 different console commands.
‘bind mwheelup +jump;’ binds the +jump function (makes your character jump) to the ‘mwheelup’ key
‘bind mwheeldown +jump;’ is similar to the first, it tells your character to jump (with the +jump function) when the mwheeldown key is pressed
In the end, with players who still find it difficult to control their Jumpwheel bind with the above two options, they can always execute the Spacebar bind.
The third and final command, ‘bind space +jump’ re-binds the space bar (‘space’) to the jump function (‘+jump’). This is so you can still use the spacebar to jump.
These binds can either be packed up in an executable config file or be manually entered in the in-game console.
Jumpbinds sometimes may help the players to get an upper hand over their movements while in-game. They can also help one gain an advantage over some monotonous Kz maps.
