How to enable debug items in The Sims 4?

To enable debug items, you first need to enable cheats in-game, and here is how you can enable cheats in The Sims 4:

  • Press Ctrl+Shift+C (PC) or Command+Shift+C (Mac)
  • A text box should show up in the top-left corner
  • Type in ‘testingcheats true’
  • Hit Enter (You should see the ‘Cheats are enabled’ prompt below the text box)

Voilà! The cheats are now enabled. Now you need to enter some more commands in the text box, just how you enabled cheats.

  • Open the text box just like earlier
  • Now type in ‘bb.showhiddenobjects’
  • Hit Enter
  • Type in ‘bb.showliveeditobjects’
  • Hit Enter

There you go, the debug items should now be enabled and Ready to use.

How to find and use the debug items?

  • Enter ‘Build mode’
  • The items catalog should show up at the bottom
  • Type in debug into the search bar
  • All debug items should be now listed
