How to Use All Chat in Valorant?

Valorant a game doesn’t often treat new players well, and figuring out the different chat options can be a bit overwhelming. The game offers several chat commands that enhance your communication experience, but these aren’t always easy to find. You can easily toggle between party chat and all chat using just two buttons, and there are specific codes available for sending emojis, whispering to teammates, or even surrendering a match.

Let’s explore how to access all chat in Valorant and review the various chat codes you can utilize during gameplay.

Here’s how to all chat in Valorant?

Valorant All Chat

To send a message to everyone in the chat, just press SHIFT + Enter and type /all before your message. There are also specific commands for team chat, party chat, emojis, nullifying a game, and surrendering.

Here’s a summary of the chat commands you can use in Valorant:  –

  • Team Chat: Press SHIFT + Enter, type /team followed by your message, and hit Enter to send it.
  • Party Chat: Press SHIFT + Enter, type /party followed by your message, and hit Enter to send it.
  • All Chat: Press SHIFT + Enter, type /all followed by your message, and hit Enter to send it.
  • Whisper Chat: Press CTRL + Enter, enter the player’s name, then hit Tab to type your message.
  • Reply to a private message: Use /r for a quicker response instead of typing the player’s name during the game.
  • Emojis: Hold the ALT key and use the NumPad for various emojis.
    • Heart Emoji: Alt + 3
    • Spade Emoji: Alt + 4
    • Random Emojis: Alt + any double-digit number (10-99)
  • Nullify a game (vote): Use /Remake if a teammate disconnects by round two.
  • Surrender (vote): Use /ff, /surrender, or /concede.

If a teammate disconnects by round two, you can choose to nullify the game, meaning the match will end without a loss for you. However, you’ll need other players to join in the voting process using the nullify command.

Remember that all experience points (XP) and matchmaking rating (MMR) changes will be canceled for nullified games. The surrender/forfeit command works similarly but will result in a loss and can be used even after round two.
