Valorant Clove Abilities Explained: You Can Revive Yourself!

Only a couple of days remain before Valorant’s newest Agent, Clove, hits the live servers of the competitive shooter. The new Valorant controller is expected to shake up the current meta of the game with their unique and innovative skillset, enabling them to take the role of a hybrid controller-duelist and play an active role in taking control of bombsites.

Unlike all the other controllers in the game, Clove possesses a self-heal ability and can also revive themselves with their ultimate. On top of that, Clove can even smoke after they are killed in combat, separating them from all the other controllers in Valorant.

Without further ado, let’s check out the abilities of the 25th Valorant Agent:

E – Ruse: Equip to view the battlefield. Fire to set the locations where Clove’s clouds will settle. Alt fire to confirm, launching clouds that block vision in the chosen areas. Clove can also use this ability after death.

Q – Meddle: Equip a fragment of immortality essence. Fire to throw the fragment, which erupts after a short delay and temporarily decays all targets caught inside.

C – Pick-me-up: Instantly absorb the life force of a fallen enemy that Clove damaged or killed, gaining haste and temporary health.

X (Ult) – Not Dead Yet: After dying, activate to resurrect. Once resurrected, Clove must earn a kill or a damaging assist within a set time or they will die.

After the initial looks at their kit, it seems that Clove will find themselves taking over the Valorant meta following the Agent’s release. Not only does Clove possess strong entry fragging capabilities, but players will also be able to use them to provide support to their team even after dying.
