Resident Evil Village has plenty of locked doors and areas that cannot be accessed unless you have the correct key. These areas usually contain treasures and other valuable items such as weapon upgrades that you won’t be able to acquire otherwise.
After defeating the first boss, you’ll be tasked with finding a house with a red chimney.
While searching for the objective, you’ll come across an abandoned house (Lutheir’s House on the map) with a Violin door on it that is locked, but there is a note next to it. Examining the note reveals that the house has been abandoned and its key is with the gardener for safekeeping.
Here’s where you can find the Gardener’s key:
- As you leave House Beneviento, a new area opens up to your left. This area leads to the Gardener’s house where you can find a labyrinth, a typewriter, and keys to Lutheir’s house next to it (Violin Key). There is also a well outside the Gardener’s shed that contains a Doll’s head.
- Head back to Lutheir’s house inside the Village hub area and unlock the door using the key you just got.
- Inside the house, you’ll come across a combination lock. Unlock it by entering 270917 and Grab the F2 Sniper Rifle Mag along with a Treasure that you can sell to The Duke.
