Is XXXTentacion Coming to Fortnite? Breaking Down the Rumours

0

Fortnite, the popular battle royale game, is once again making headlines. This time, it’s because of rumors about a possible collaboration with the late rapper XXXTentacion. Fans are excited, but is it really happening? Let’s break down what we know so far.

The rumors started in late 2024 when a well-known Fortnite leaker, @SamLeakss, shared that Epic Games was in talks with XXXTentacion’s music producer, John Cunningham. The collaboration was said to be planned for January 23, 2025, which is XXXTentacion’s birthday. However, it seems the release might be delayed to make the event bigger and better.

XXXTentacion, whose real name was Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy, was a famous rapper known for his unique style. He passed away in 2018, but his music still has millions of fans worldwide. If the collaboration happens, it would be a way to honor his legacy.

What Leaks Tell Us

Recently, more details have surfaced. A trusted Fortnite leaker, HYPEX, shared a video of an unfinished emote called “Look at Me!” This emote uses XXXTentacion’s song of the same name. The dance in the emote is inspired by one of his iconic poses.

Ski Mask the Slump God, a close friend and collaborator of XXXTentacion, also confirmed the rumors. He said on a live stream, “I’ve seen the X emote. They’ve got a whole thing planned.” This suggests that the collaboration might include more than just an emote, possibly a skin, or even a special event.

What Could the Collaboration Include?

If the rumors are true, here’s what fans might expect:

  • Icon Series Skin: XXXTentacion could get his own skin, similar to other musicians like Travis Scott and Ariana Grande. The skin might feature his signature hairstyles and tattoos.
  • Music and Emotes: Apart from the “Look at Me!” emote, there could be more emotes or even jam tracks featuring his music.
  • Special Event: Epic Games might host a tribute event, like the one they did for Juice WRLD. This could include a virtual concert or an immersive in-game experience.

Why This Collaboration Matters?

Fortnite has a history of collaborating with big names in music. These collaborations bring millions of players together. For example, Travis Scott’s virtual concert in 2020 was a huge success. A collaboration with XXXTentacion would not only celebrate his music but also connect with his fans in a meaningful way.

When Will We Know More?

As of now, Epic Games has not officially confirmed the collaboration. However, leaks suggest that it could happen soon, possibly within the next few weeks. Fans are keeping a close eye on updates from Epic Games and trusted leakers like HYPEX.

While the rumors are exciting, it’s important to remember that nothing is confirmed yet. Fortnite fans and XXXTentacion supporters will have to wait for an official announcement. If the collaboration does happen, it could be one of the most emotional and memorable moments in Fortnite’s history.

For now, all we can do is stay tuned and hope for the best.

Valorant Champions Tour 2025: Schedule, Teams, Prizes & Updates

0

The Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) 2025 is here, and it’s bigger and better than ever! Riot Games has announced a packed schedule, new formats, and exciting changes for this year’s tournament. The season started on January 11, 2025, and will run until October 5, 2025, with teams from around the world competing for glory. Here’s everything you need to know about the VCT 2025.

What’s New in VCT 2025?

This year, Riot Games has made some big changes to make the competition more exciting. Each regional league now has 12 teams, including 10 partner teams and 2 teams from the Ascension tournaments. The leagues are divided into four regions: Americas, EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa), Pacific, and China. Each region will host its own Kickoff event, followed by two stages of International Leagues and global tournaments like Masters and Champions.

The season has been extended to reduce stress on players and give fans more action. Teams will play at least 12 matches, but those who perform well can play up to 23 matches. This means more thrilling games for fans to enjoy.

Kickoff Events

The VCT 2025 season began with Kickoff tournaments in each region. These events took place between January 11 and February 9, 2025. The top two teams from each Kickoff event qualified for the first global tournament, Masters Bangkok. The Kickoff events used a double-elimination format, with the top four teams from last year getting a bye in the first round.

For example, in the China Kickoff, EDward Gaming (EDG) won the tournament and secured their spot in Masters Bangkok. Other regions like EMEA, Americas, and Pacific also saw intense competition as teams fought for their place in the next stage.

Masters Tournaments

There will be two Masters tournaments in 2025. The first one, Masters Bangkok, will take place from February 20 to March 2, 2025. It will feature eight teams, with two from each region. The tournament will start with a Swiss stage, followed by a double-elimination playoff bracket. The prize pool for Masters Bangkok is $500,000, with the winner taking home $250,000.

The second Masters event, Masters Toronto, is scheduled for June 7 to June 22, 2025. This tournament will include 12 teams, with three from each region. The format is similar to Masters Bangkok, but with more teams and higher stakes. The prize pool for Masters Toronto is $1 million, making it one of the most lucrative events of the season.

International Leagues

After the Kickoff events, the season moves into the International Leagues. These are divided into two stages: Stage 1 and Stage 2. Stage 1 runs from March to May, while Stage 2 takes place from July to August. Each stage has a group stage and playoffs. The top teams from Stage 1 qualify for Masters Toronto, while the top teams from Stage 2 earn a spot in the Valorant Champions 2025.

Valorant Champions 2025

The biggest event of the year, Valorant Champions 2025, will be held in Paris, France, from September 12 to October 5, 2025. Sixteen teams will compete for the title of world champion and a share of the $2.25 million prize pool. The tournament will start with a group stage, followed by a double-elimination playoff bracket. The winner will take home $1 million.

New Agent: Tejo

This season also introduced a new agent, Tejo, who has already made an impact in the tournaments. Teams in EMEA, Americas, and Pacific started using Tejo from the beginning, while China allowed the agent from the second week. NAVI from EMEA was the first team to use Tejo in a match, but EDward Gaming showed how powerful the agent can be with a dominant performance.

The VCT 2025 season promises to be the most exciting yet, with new formats, bigger prize pools, and more teams. Fans can look forward to thrilling matches, unexpected upsets, and unforgettable moments. Make sure to follow the official Valorant Esports channels for updates and live coverage of the tournaments.

Stay tuned, because this is just the beginning of an action-packed year for Valorant esports!

Valorant Patch 10.03 to Fix Neon’s Unintentional Nerf – Details Inside

0

Valorant players who main Neon can finally breathe a sigh of relief. The developers have confirmed that an unintentional nerf to Neon’s movement will be fixed in Patch 10.03. This issue was first noticed after Patch 10.01, released on January 21, 2025, and has been a hot topic in the Valorant community ever since.

The problem started when players noticed a significant drop in Neon’s speed after sliding. This change was not mentioned in the patch notes, leading many to believe it was a silent nerf. Content creator temet brought attention to the issue by sharing a before-and-after video on social media. The video clearly showed how Neon’s movement felt slower and less fluid after the patch.

Valorant’s Live Balance Lead, known as penguin, quickly responded to the concerns. On January 24, 2025, penguin confirmed on X (formerly Twitter) that the change was not intentional. “This wasn’t an intentional balance change. We will be looking into this today,” penguin wrote.

However, fixing the issue isn’t as simple as releasing a quick update. Penguin explained that the problem cannot be resolved with a hotfix. Instead, players will have to wait for Patch 10.03, which is expected to roll out in the coming weeks. The exact release date for the patch has not been announced yet.

This unintentional nerf has been particularly frustrating for Neon mains. Neon, a fast-paced duelist, relies heavily on her speed and agility to outmaneuver opponents. The drop in speed after sliding has made her feel less effective in combat. Some players even speculated that this was another attempt to nerf Neon, who had already received significant changes in Patch 9.11 in December 2024. In that patch, her slides were reduced from two to one, and her ultimate duration was cut in half.

Despite the frustration, the Valorant community has appreciated the developers’ transparency. Penguin’s quick response and promise of a fix have reassured players that the issue is being taken seriously. Many are now eagerly waiting for Patch 10.03 to bring Neon back to her former glory.

In the meantime, players are adapting to the changes. Some have switched to other duelists like Jett or Reyna, while others are experimenting with new strategies to make Neon work in her current state. Competitive players, in particular, have been vocal about the impact of this nerf. Professional players and teams have noted that Neon’s reduced mobility has made her less viable in high-stakes matches.

This incident also highlights the challenges of balancing a game as complex as Valorant. With so many agents, abilities, and mechanics to manage, unintended changes can sometimes slip through. However, the developers’ willingness to listen to the community and address issues quickly shows their commitment to maintaining a fair and enjoyable game.

As the wait for Patch 10.03 continues, players are hopeful that Neon will once again become the speedy and dynamic agent they know and love. Until then, the Valorant community remains vigilant, ready to provide feedback and help shape the future of the game.

Team Spirit wins BLAST Bounty Finals

Team Spirit outclasses Eternal Fire to win Blast Bounty grand finals. Winning the first LAN of the year, Team Spirit carries their form from 2024 into the new year as the Major champions cruise through top teams.

Veto

  • Eternal Fire removed Ancient
  • Spirit removed Inferno
  • Eternal Fire picked Anubis
  • Spirit picked Nuke
  • Eternal Fire picked Dust2
  • Spirit picked Mirage
  • Train was left over

Map 1: Anubis; Picked: Eternal Fire; Winner: Eternal Fire

Eternal Fire started with a pistol round win, but Spirit got back on board with the first gun round. Team Spirit dominated Eternal Fire on their defense while the Turks managed one more round before switching sides. Eternal Fire being 9:3 down reached a point where they were staring at the face of a 12:4 scoreline. They started mounting their comeback one round at a time as Spirit threw away an 8-round lead. EF players started getting more confident with each passing round and were able to deal with everything Spirit threw at them to push the game to OT. Eternal Fire in overtime managed to clean sweep Spirit on their T side leaving donk and co and tiled after winning the map 16-14.

Map 2: Nuke; Picked: Spirit; Winner: Spirit

Following a disastrous defeat on Anubis for Spirit, they were able to make a comeback on Nuke. Starting strong offense, Sprit were able to assert their dominance right from the get-go. Not so methodical but the individuals were able to win their duels which gave them the space to manoeuvre across the map leaving Eternal Fire confused on the CT side. The Russians put up a streak of 10 rounds as EF had no answers leaving them with little room for a comeback in the second half. The second half started with Eternal Fire pulling back a few rounds but Spirit stopped the comeback from finding any momentum, closing the map with a 13-6 scoreline.

Map 3: Dust 2; Picked: Eternal Fire; Winner: Spirit

Spirit continued their momentum from Nuke, putting up a fortress for a defense that gave Eternal Fire no room to get going on their T side. Failing to secure a solid foundation Eternal Fire only managed to win a single round on their offence as a donk and sh1ro managed to keep them at bay. Eternal Fire started the second half with a pistol round win but Spirit spent no time in closing it out, winning the map 13-3.

Map 4: Mirage; Picked: Spirit; Winner: Spirit

A good start for Spirit yet again met a more competitive Eternal Fire early on but managed to continue their momentum moving forward. Spirit managed to win the remaining rounds in the half throwing EF to the backfoot for the 4 time in the series. Spirit closed the half with an 8-4 scoreline. Spirit continued their domination in the second half as Eternal Fire once again had no solutions to a picture-perfect offense led by sh1ro and donk. While Eternal Fire managed to pull in a few rounds, they finally fell at the hands of Spirit eco, losing the map 13:8.

VETO

  • Eternal Fire removed Ancient
  • G2 removed Train
  • Eternal Fire picked Anubis
  • G2 picked Dust2
  • Eternal Fire removed Mirage
  • G2 removed Inferno
  • Nuke was left over

Map 1: Anubis; Picked: Eternal Fire; Winner: G2

Having started the map with a bang, G2 stood on a 7-0 lead before Eternal Fire got their first round on the board. Having won the first round, Eternal Fire managed to get a hold of their defense causing G2 to fumble the lead and reach a respectable scoreline of 7-5. Eternal Fire on the T side started sharp and despite G2’s best efforts, Eternal Fire squeezed in a victory-ending out a 13-11 lead. Despite the best efforts from m0NESY, Wicadia worked with 20 kills to spearhead EF’s offense to close out the map.

Map 2: Dust 2; Picked: G2; Winner: G2

A solid first half for G2 saw them go 8-4 up with m0nesy and HeavyGod doing most of the heavy lifting as Malbs and huNter chimed in to give G2 a solid foundation before they walked into the second half. XANTARES came into his own on the defence as G2 found it difficult to get themselves going which forced them to delve deep into their start book which caused Eternal Fire to bring the game closer than it should have been. Iniduvudals from G2 managed to push it over the line with a sublime huNter 4k to take us to Nuke.

Map 3: Nuke; Picked: Decider; Winner: Eternal Fire

Yet another solid start to the map for G2 but Eternal FIre quickly responded as we were left with a first half with both teams sharing the rounds. Moving from a leveled scoreline, G2 couldn’t get going as the Eternal Fire T side was too much to handle for the G2 defense. The Turks were able to abuse the outer ramp which became the biggest vulnerability for G2 and eventually became the reason they lost the map. Each player for EF, turned up when it mattered as a start-studded performance across the board saw them take down G2.

G2’s debut event with HeavyGod showed promising signs as huNter looks to be adapting well into his new role. Eternal Fire on the other hand has become a force to be reckoned with since the arrival of jottAAA as they will play in the second-tier-1 final of the organisation’s history looking to bring in their first trophy.

How to Get Premier Season 1 Medal in CS2?

Counter-Strike 2‘s inaugural Premier Season is drawing to a close, with anticipation building for Season 2 updates. As the season’s end approaches, players have been wondering about a commemorative reward, similar to the medals awarded in CS:GO.

According to an official Counter-Strike blog post, a special medal will be given to every player who earned a CS Rating during Season 1. However, prominent leaker ThourCS2 suggests that simply participating in Premier mode will be enough to receive the souvenir. This article will explore the possibilities surrounding the CS2 Premier Season 1 medal and its contents.

How to Obtain the CS2 Premier Season 1 Medal

The process of receiving the medal is relatively straightforward. As per the official blog, any player who achieved a Premier rank in Season 1 will be granted a commemorative medal. This reward will be distributed at the start of Premier Season 2 and can be claimed upon launching the game.

The CS2 Premier Season 1 medal will showcase a summary of the player’s performance throughout the season, including:

  • Highest Premier rank achieved in Season 1
  • Total matches played, including wins, draws, and losses
  • Win rate percentage
  • K/D Ratio
  • Number of MVPs
  • Number of Aces
  • Number of 4k (four kills in a round)
  • Number of 3k (three kills in a round)
  • Headshot percentage

Furthermore, Valve plans to incorporate map-specific statistics, such as K/D Ratio, total kills, kills per round, headshot percentage, and assists.

Based on initial previews, the medal’s appearance won’t initially reflect the player’s final Premier rank. However, Valve has indicated a visual upgrade for the Season 2 medal, which will conclude after the Austin Major 2025. This upgrade will involve changing the medal’s background color to represent the player’s highest achieved rank.
