Streamer and content creator Alinity has been involved with a bunch of controversies in the past, the most notable of which is the time when she threw her cat during a livestream on her Twitch channel and was accused of animal cruelty. Following the incident, she was cleared by the Saskatoon SPCA. However, she claims that it still continues to haunt her to this day.
After members of 100 Thieves’ content creation group The Mob posted tweets commenting on the rising “toxicity” in the world of streaming, Alinity added a few comments of her own that sparked a reaction from the other side, which in turn converted into a heated Twitter feud.
“But you didnt seem to mind toxicity when mob members made frequent tweets over the span of a year sh*tting on me and sending harassment,” Alinity said, replying to the above-mentioned tweets by 100 Thieves’ Froste, “Remember my birthday post with a thousand hate messages?”
Froste responded (now deleted) to Alinity’s accusations with a tweet of his own, implying that Alinity was bringing up the situation for views.
“If impressions and viewer counts are low just throw your cat against a wall again, don’t try to come at me, sweetie,” he said.
Alinity then attached a few screenshots of 100 Thieves’ Classy mocking her on the incident, claiming that she “got made fun of on the daily by a hate mob.”
“And the hate mob has way more people on their side, to the point where you can’t do anything but accept the harassment and block them” she continued.
It’s unclear how long will the heated exchange of tweets between the two sides continue, but it has undoubtedly gained some serious traction in the streaming community.
