Sagar ‘Maxtern’ Thakur seems to have deleted his Twitter account. According to his own statement, he will follow this up by deleting his Instagram account on January 19, 2021.
The popular PUBG Mobile content creator had teased and hinted at a big announcement between January 15 to January 19, 2021, boasting that he would delete his social media accounts if the announcement doesn’t actually happen.
However, Maxtern has chosen to delete his Twitter before his self-set deadline, which perhaps hints that the announcement is not coming or has been delayed once again.
For people unaware, Maxtern had reported an incoming announcement on Christmas regarding PUBG Mobile and the current claim was also rumoured to be regarding the same game.

The PUBG Mobile content creator also alerted his fans and followers of a potential impostor, stating that he had not made a new account and that his handle remains @RealMaxtern.
PUBG Mobile has teased its return to the Indian Market since Diwali in 2020. However, there has been no positive update since, with the Indian enthusiasts still left in limbo over a tentative return date for the mega hit mobile esports title.

Maxtern’s claim would have given his fans and PUBG Mobile lovers some hope. But, the hopes would have taken another hit after the content creator all but confirmed that his claim is not set to come true, at least within the time frame he had given as part of his bold statement.
