From the team at CODStats and offered by Overwolf, the Warzone Companion App offers an advanced stat tracker that will give you some much deeper insights about your game stats, how you match up against other players, cheaters you encounter, and more. How to install the Overwolf Warzone companion app?

  1. To install the Warzone companion app, simply head over to the official CODStats website or the official Overwolf site and download the Warzone Companion App.

(Do note that the application will install the base Overwolf client which also supports other games like Hearthstone, Valorant, Among Us, and more. The Overwolf client will always run in the background while you play COD Warzone so that it can collect the game stats and showcase them in real-time.)

  1. When the file is downloaded, simply install it and follow the instructions that appear on the screen.
  1. Now boot up your Call of Duty Warzone client and as soon as you load into Warzone, you’ll see all your stats from your recent games and how you compare to the global Warzone population in things like kill-death ratio and experience. The app also detects if there are any cheaters in your lobby, helping you to avoid hackers and enjoy the game. The app also lets you compare your stats with the players in your pre-match lobby and players you encounter during the game.

(Do note that these stats are only available after loading into the match completely, so as to avoid players from using the app to back out of lobbies with higher skilled opponents.)

How Safe is the Warzone Companion?

Every third party software comes with the risk of being malware or accidentally triggering the anticheat protection. While the Overwolf Warzone Companion app isn’t an official application by Activision, the team at CODStats and Overwolf have confirmed that the platform works closely with game developer and publisher to ensure that the app published on the platform is aligned with the Terms of Service and 3rd party policies of the game and doesn’t result in players getting banned.

Since its launch, the app has garnered a decent amount of user base and a number of users have also said on Reddit that it works as intended and didn’t trip their anti-virus protection. If you still have any doubts whatsoever, refrain from using it as a precaution or install it at your own discretion.
