It’s a good day to be a Marvel Rivals fan, as NetEase is currently handing out free in-game currency to all players who log into the game.
This giveaway comes in response to recent matchmaking issues that left many players stranded due to unexpected server outages.
For the uninitiated, a number of Marvel Rivals players had reported facing the ‘Operation Frequency Too High’ error when trying to get into a game on February 25th. This error not only increased their loading times but also often rendered them unable to join games.
As an apology, the devs are handing out 200 units to anyone who tunes into the game before March 12, 2025, 00:00 UTC+0.

As confirmed by NetEase, the rewards are sent to players via the in-game mail.
To claim the 200 units compensation in Marvel Rivals, simply launch the game and check your mail.
Once you find the mail in question, you’ll be able to redeem the rewards, which will then be added to your Marvel Rivals inventory.
