New Marvel Rival Character Leaks Suggest Emma Frost Joining Roster

The Marvel Rivals community is buzzing with anticipation as new leaks have surfaced on social media forums that hint towards Emma Frost being added to the game’s roster.

Since the initial release of Marvel Rivals in December 2024, we’ve seen plenty of leaks surface on the internet attempting to uncover the upcoming characters to join the game. And while it hasn’t been long since the newest Marvel Rival heroes—The Thing and Human Torch—joined the hero pool, recent leaks suggest that the devs have a lot more planned for the game’s player base.

Dataminers have uncovered game files suggesting that Emma Frost will be added to the ever-expanding hero roster of Marvel Rivals in the near future.

Marvel Rivals Character Leaks: Emma Frost

As confirmed in a recent X (formerly Twitter) post by prominent leaker ‘X0XLEAK’, some unused voice lines have been found in the Marvel Rivals game files that clearly reference Emma Frost.

Wolverine and Psylocke’s newly discovered voice lines reference interactions with Emma Frost, including reactions to knocking her out or seeing her die. This strongly implies that she will be a playable character in Marvel Rivals in the near future.

The Emma Frost leaks contained three voice lines referencing the character from Wolverine alongside one from Psylocke.

Marvel Rivals Emma Frost Release Date

While the exact release date of Emma Frost in Marvel Rivals hasn’t been confirmed by NetEase at the time of writing, the earliest that fans can expect this new hero to land in the game is with the Season 2 update in April 2025.
