How Many Hours Can You Play BGMI?

Battleground Mobile India (BGMI), after a hiatus of 10 months, has made a triumphant return to the Indian gaming scene. However, the comeback is not without its caveats. Krafton, the game’s developer, has introduced time restrictions for all Indian users, a move that has sparked widespread discussion.

While the official rationale behind these restrictions remains undisclosed, it’s speculated that they align with governmental regulations. Krafton’s new guidelines dictate that players under 18 can indulge in the game for a maximum of three hours a day. For those over 18, the limit extends to six hours.

In a bid to promote responsible gaming, Krafton has also incorporated parental verification into the game. This feature, along with a daily spending cap for minors, is part of Krafton’s broader strategy to ensure a safe and balanced gaming environment.

Despite the restrictions, BGMI continues to evolve and innovate. The game has rolled out a host of new features and maps, enhancing the overall gaming experience. One notable addition is the Nuasa map, the smallest in the game, set in a tropical zone. This map introduces new elements like Ziplines, elevators, zorb balls, a swimming pool, combustible buildings, and destructible jars. Players can also utilize the Super Recall option and explore new weapons and vehicles.
