To ensure that all players have a level playing field, Krafton India has made a strategic decision to enhance the anti-cheat mechanism on Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). As announced on Krafton’s official Discord channel, this update seeks to improve player experience by taking aim at the cheater accounts involved in ESP hacks and server management.
Krafton India has been very proactive in the fight against cheating and has not relented at any one time. The update forms part of a broader approach to promote fairness among the players in the market. The company has set new rules and regulations such as suspension of hardware device usage for a period of up to three days and account termination for serious violations such as team killing, cheating in game, account trading and embezzlement of payment services.
To create the positive atmosphere for gaming Krafton India has released ‘Anyone Se Everyone Tak’ campaign which states that BGMI is the game for all types of players. Such move is under the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility program as a way of showing the Krafton’s dedication on being open and showcasing the corporate’s concern in engaging with the community. The company has appealed to the players to seek information from official sources as other sources provide fake news.
In addition to the anti-cheat measures, the BGMI has new additions in the recent 3.4 version. Customers can now purchase the Tekken Mini Royal Pass featuring characters from a famous fighting video game, Tekken. Besides, in the update, players can find new skins for guns, outfits, and a new vehicle called the Warhorse.
