Revenant Esports’ SENSEI Weighs in on BGIS 2023 Hacking Issue

As the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023 unfolds, concerns about hacking and cheating in the game have continued to make headlines. This time, Deepak “SENSEI” Negi, the In-Game Leader (IGL) of Revenant Esports’ BGMI roster, shared his perspective on the matter. In his statements, SENSEI addressed the doubts and speculations surrounding the tournament and offered insights into the potential consequences of unfair play.

SENSEI Shares His Perspective on Hackers in BGIS 2023

In a recent livestream, viewers asked SENSEI about his stance on allegations of cheating in BGIS 2023. Responding to this, SENSEI acknowledged the widespread doubts circulating within the BGMI community. He emphasized that while suspicions exist, it’s challenging to make definitive claims about cheating. He added that when players reach the Grand Finals of BGIS 2023 and compete in a LAN setting, everything will be closely monitored.

SENSEI further added, “Even if someone is not playing legitimately… Let me tell you one thing – if someone is not playing legitimately, when they come to play in Grand Finals at the LAN, everything will be monitored. What will they do there?”

SENSEI also spoke about the motivations of players who might consider cheating during online tournaments. He suggested that some individuals might be tempted to cheat in hopes of attracting sponsors or securing a spot on a prominent team or organization. However, he offered a reality check by stating that this approach wouldn’t yield the desired results. “They won’t even get a Tier-1 slot. Everyone knows what’s going on; everyone is observing everything. We also know what is going on. But it won’t change anything if we speak about it,” he added.

In his final statement, SENSEI stressed the importance of having solid evidence before making accusations of cheating. He acknowledged that suspicions alone aren’t enough to take action.
