Skyesports, one of the biggest tournament organizers in South Asia, has started to hype the BGMI esports and their own flagship tournaments right after the ban on BGMI was lifted by the government of India. In one of his latest Instagram stories, the owner Shiva Nandy has hinted that a huge BGMI tournament in LAN mode might just be around the corner.
Players familiar with the whole esports scene in India are accustomed to the name Skyesports as they have risen to become one of the biggest esports tournament organizers in India and abroad as well.
One of their flagship event revolved around PUBG Mobile or BGMI where a large audience was captured by the tournament organizers. The amount of players eagerly waiting for the return of BGMI esports is large and Skyesports is taking a benefit of this advantage to tease their upcoming tournaments.
Shiva Nandy, the owner of Skyesports, recently did a short Q&A on his Instagram where one of his followers asked him about the status of BGMI tournaments that would be hosted by Skyesports.
In response to this, Shiva replied that a huge tournament with a LAN audience will be hosted either in Mumbai or Bengaluru, depending on the management itself.
This BGMI tournament will be one of the first tournaments planned by any third-party organizers and if it follows the same trend that was set by BGMI before the ban, the prize pool is expected to be in the range of crores for the upcoming tournament. All the details will be revealed once the tournament is confirmed by Skyesports.
